2. Hosting and server log files
This website is operated by an external hosting provider. When the pages are accessed, technically necessary access data is processed in server log files (in particular IP address, date and time, the file requested and the amount of data transferred, browser type). The legal basis is our legitimate interest in secure and stable operation (Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR).
3. Fonts
Fonts are served exclusively and locally from this server. There is no connection to Google Fonts or other third-party providers; no personal data is transmitted to third parties for this purpose.
4. Embedded third-party content
- Storage Explorer (code rendering): On the Explorer page, the "highlight.js" library is loaded via the cdnjs CDN (Cloudflare Inc., USA). In the process, your IP address is transmitted to Cloudflare (Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR).
- Live Playground: The Playground page embeds an external query server via an iFrame. When it loads, your IP address is transmitted to that server.
- Discord: Links to Discord open a service of Discord Inc.; their privacy policy applies.
5. Newsletter
If you subscribe to our newsletter, we process the email address you provide solely for the purpose of sending the newsletter on the basis of your consent (Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR). You may withdraw your consent at any time with effect for the future.
6. Local storage in the browser
To store your settings (e.g. the color scheme) and to avoid showing one-time notices again, we use your browser's local storage (localStorage / sessionStorage). This data remains on your device and is not transmitted to us. No tracking or marketing cookies are used.
7. Contacting us
If you contact us by email, we process your information in order to handle the request (Art. 6 (1) (b) or (f) GDPR).
8. Your rights
You have the right to access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability, and to object to processing. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority.
